Research seminars

See our researchers in action

Our seminars are an opportunity for our academic staff and research degree students, as well as our national and international colleagues, to present their research in progress. They often feature workshops and master classes by staff and visiting scholars, as well as directed discussions about ongoing research projects and the research agenda of the school as a whole.

We primarily host external scholars who work in disciplines that reflect the core interests of staff in the School: accounting, economics, finance, law, and property. Interdisciplinary work in any field related to markets, regulation and governance is also valued.

Regular seminars are held at 11am to 12.30pm every Wednesday during the core teaching periods (Study Periods 2 and 5). They are held at the City West campus in the Way Lee building, Level 2, Room 47 (WL2-47), unless otherwise indicated.  From time-to-time we also host seminars by external scholars outside of core teaching times.
