The UniSA Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to undertake placements in businesses of all types; large or small, public, private or not-for-profit, start-up or long term businesses. The program gives students the chance to develop an understanding of what it is like to work in their chosen discipline and to gain valuable experience for their post-graduation employment.
The program gives businesses access to a fresh perspective and knowledge that can assist in their workplace.
Students spend between 15 and 40 days in the business depending on the course they are enrolled in. The time can be intensive (ie 5 days per week) or spread over a longer period of time based on the availability of both the student and the business supervisor.
Student placements could be a particular project (or series of small projects) or, for undergraduate students, a more observational placement giving experience in multiple areas of the business.
